Sauce
- 1 bottle (12-ounce) Heinz chili sauce 1 ¼ cups
- 1 can (14-ounce) jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon packed light or dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Meatballs
- 2 bags (14 to 18-ounce) frozen cooked bite-size Italian meatballs about ½ ounce each; do not thaw
Garnish
- finely chopped fresh parsley leaves for garnish (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Whisk Heinz chili sauce, jellied cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce together in a slow cooker until mostly smooth. Stir in the frozen meatballs.
Cover and cook until heated through and sauce thickens, 2 to 2 ½ hours on HIGH or 3 to 4 hours on LOW. For thicker sauce, cook uncovered on HIGH for the last 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Transfer to a serving dish or serve straight from the slow cooker. Garnish with parsley if desired.
