Beef

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Can substitute with turkey or plant-based options.

Pasta

  • 2 cups Pasta Shells Any pasta can work, but shell shape captures sauce best.

Sauce

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can use half-and-half or evaporated milk for a lighter version.
  • Salt Adjust to taste.
  • Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • Garlic Adjust to taste.

Extra Flavor

  • Cheese Optional, use dairy-free cheese if desired.

Cooking Steps

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound of ground beef until fully browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add minced garlic and your choice of seasonings (salt, pepper) to the beef. Sauté for a further 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and golden.
  • Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and stir gently. Bring to a simmer and allow the sauce to thicken, about 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, boil 2 cups of pasta shells according to the package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Gently mix the cooked pasta shells into the beef sauce, ensuring every piece is coated. Keep stirring for 1-2 minutes over low heat.
  • Dish out the creamy beef and shells onto plates, serving warm. Optionally sprinkle cheese on top.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the seasonings and add vegetables for extra nutrition.
