Ingredients
  

Syrup and Sugars

  • 1 cup light or dark corn syrup 235 millilitres
  • ½ cup white sugar 100 grams
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed, 110 grams
  • 1 ½ tablespoons oil
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Pie Crust and Pecans

  • 1 9 inch unbaked pie shell See recipe for crust
  • 1 ½ cups pecans roughly chopped, 190 grams

Instructions
 

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F or 175°C with a baking sheet on the middle rack.
  • Combine the syrup, sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, salt, and vanilla. Whisk until well combined.
  • Line pie crust with the pecans. Pour the filling mixture over the pecans.
  • Bake in preheated oven for about 60 minutes.
  • Let cool for 2 hours on wire rack before serving.

Notes

This pie can be served warm or cold.
