Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.25 cups Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 cups Butter room temperature
  • 0.5 cups Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract

Mix-ins

  • 0.25 cups Chocolate Chips
  • Vanilla Frosting
  • Colorful Sprinkles

Instructions
 

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a mixing bowl, add flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In another large mixing bowl combine brown sugar, sugar and butter, egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Slowly add in the flour mixture.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Make tablespoon-sized balls and place on a nonstick pan or a parchment paper-lined baking pan. Use a spoon to slightly flatten.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Place on cooling rack.
  • Once cookies have cooled, spread vanilla frosting on the inside of every other cookie.
  • Place a cookie on top to make a cookie sandwich.
  • Dip the edges into a bowl filled with sprinkles.

Notes

You can tweak ingredients for a slightly chewier cookie by adding one extra egg yolk, substituting white sugar with brown sugar, or slightly underbaking the cookies.
