- 2 lbs fresh green beans
- 1-2 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 400°. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Wash and dry the green beans. Cut off the ends and lay them on the cookie sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss the green beans together with tongs until coated with olive oil.
Roast the green beans for 10-12 minutes and remove from oven. The green beans should be softened and have some coloring.
Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the green beans and add the garlic. Toss to coat the green beans in cheese and garlic.
Roast for another 5-7 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic!
Remove from the oven and enjoy as a side dish to your favorite meal.
