  • 1 pound medium shrimp peeled and deveined

Condiments and Spices

  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Kosher salt and ground pepper to taste
  • 1.5 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or to your taste
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1-2 tablespoon water or broth

Produce

  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon juice of
  • Freshly chopped curly parsley for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  • Peel and devein the medium shrimp and place them in a mixing bowl. Season with Kosher salt and ground pepper, and stir in the minced garlic. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Heat extra-virgin olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook, stirring frequently, until shrimp starts to curl, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice, lemon slices, white wine vinegar, and water or broth, and simmer for 2 minutes more until the shrimp is fully cooked and opaque.
  • Remove from the heat, transfer to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped curly parsley and crushed red pepper flakes.

Notes

Substitutes: Chicken breast or steak bites for shrimp, any oil instead of olive oil. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
